MEET YOUR THERAPIST

I’m Ashley, Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Atlas Therapy. I created Atlas with a vision in mind of providing a safe, calming, and reflective space where people can begin to feel comfortable enough to look at their lives from a different perspective. Sometimes we need a shift in perspective before we can make the change we desire, which is an important part of how I can help you in my role as a therapist.

Through the therapeutic relationship, we can sit down and look at things without the biases that other people in our lives have. This is a crucial part of creating the environment that is often needed for the changes and growth we are seeking.

my approach

I believe everyone deserves a safe space to heal and grow from life experiences without fear of judgement. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, deepen your self-understanding, and turn insight into actionable steps. My approach to therapy is collaborative and grounded in the belief that meaningful and lasting change comes from feeling fully seen and accepted, paired with practical tools to move forward.

I enjoy working with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, eating and body image concerns, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach is person-centered, holistic, and trauma-informed, honoring the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of your experience. I integrate evidence-based methods like EMDR (eye movement desensitization & reprocessing), Mindfulness-based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, which provides a balance of structure and flexibility in our work together.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I love to travel, explore creative outlets, and take long walks with my dogs. These practices help remind me of the importance of connection, balance, and stepping outside of my comfort zone.
